Nosecones are straight handpieces with integral chucking mechanism which can be used with a doriot attachment head such as latch head or prophy. 3/16" diameter long shank burs may also be used. Nosecones typically attach to an air driven or electric handpiece motor providing the driving force for bur or doriot attachment rotation.
