Handpiece Purge Units | Handpiece Lubrication Units
We highly recommend the use of automatic handpiece purge, or handpiece lubrication units to a busy practice. They remove much of the guess work, as well as, the trip back to the delivery unit to purge handpieces following lubrication. Many handpiece manufacturers have created their own proprietary version, but most operate on the same principal. Handpiece is physically attached to an adaptor designed to fit the particular brand. Some sort of cover is placed to collect expelled lubricant and debris. A cycle is started in which a measured amount of lubricant is introduced followed by an automatic purge.
